It was a surpise for me to see the buses with the same route number in two different parts of the city. The first 993 bus runs in Sydney CBD and second 993 bus goes from Engadine railway station in Engadine, which is also part of Greater Sydney located just 30 kilometers from Sydney CBD.
I wonder of bus companies run out of available three-digit route numbers or two bus companies just do not know which route number are already being used by other bus operators in same city?

Here is a copy of Sydney private bus routes table also listing these two 993 bus routes:

Now that is a real change:
Major power outage in Sydney CBD
A massive blackout is affecting people across central Sydney and parts of the eastern suburbs.
The streets of the CBD were crowded with pedestrians and in some cases gridlocked with vehicles after some traffic lights along George Street and surrounding streets went out at about 4.45pm.
