The aquarium is a part of the Ocean Expo Commemorative National Government Park located in Motobu, Okinawa. The aquarium is made up of four-floors which hold attractions of deep sea creatures, sharks, coral and other tropical fish. The aquarium is set on 19,000 m² of land, holds a total of 77 tanks with 10,000 m³ of water. Water for the saltwater exhibits is pumped into the aquarium from 350m offshore 24 hours a day.

The main tank called the ‘Kuroshio Sea’ holds 7,500-cubic meters (1,981,290 gallons) of water and features the world’s second largest acrylic glass panel, measuring 8.2 meters by 22.5 meters with a thickness of 60 centimeters.[2] Whale sharks and manta rays are kept amongst many other fish species in the main tank.

What is common between soya beans and software?

Genetically modified soya beans could be licenced by large corporartions, just like software, and farmers could be prosecuted for keeping “unlicensed” seeds from their own crops. These seeds could also spread to other soya fields where ordinary soya beans are growing and mixing with them, causing major legal issues for farmers trying to sell their own seeds, since corporations like Monsanto accuse them of reselling their intellectual property.
