There are lots RSS reader applications available for iPhone and Android phones, but, unfortunately, most feeds contain only summary instead of complete news story. If you want to read complete story, you need to open a page using a link provided. Usually these links point to desktop version of the article, even when website has a mobile-optimized version which looks much better on small mobile phone screen and loads much faster.
You can convert original RSS using Yahoo Pipes into a mobile version by replacing original article links to mobile optimized version using some regular expression text replacements.

My Tracks application logs you movment using GPS and records it as a track. For each track you can add name and description, upload it into Google Maps, share with friends via e-mail and export into GPX or KML formats for further usage.
This application could be valuable tool for professional photographers who would like to geotag their photos taken with professional DSLR cameras. For example, Linux users can use “gpscorrelate-gui” application to add coordinates into EXIF fields of JPEG images using GPX file generated.
Download this application from Google Market

I’ve created a list of websites which support formatting for small screens. In some cases the site has a separate URL (e.g. m.google.com) in other cases the server detects device being used and displays mobile version of content (e.g. www.amazon.com). Since I’m using Google Nexus One myself I can’t guarantee how the sites would work on other platforms, but I think almost all of them should be working with iPhone and other web enabled mobile phones, such as my old Samsung Z510.
List is available at

I’ll try to keep that list up to date with new websites. Your additions are welcome in comments
